The Trio is an interconnected assemblage of three participant responsive systems.

Each system is comprised of a Microsoft Kinect and USB microphone, used for sensing/input, and a projector and sound system, used for light and sound output. Additionally, a Raspberry Pi is used to process the data based on a uniquely created Processing sketch.

The Trio appeared in the Roll Call festival in Indianapolis, IN, July 2018. It was housed within Sugar Space, where it occupied the stairwell and upper floor of this apartment gallery space.

Viewers within the space actively changed the projected imagery and sound produced by the units through their interaction with each other, the space, and The Trio.
