BIO BRIEF
Jenn Cooper (b.1981) is a Chicago based artist, entrepreneur, and citizen scientist. They have a live/work studio in Humboldt Park. They were SAIC’s 2014 Eldon Danhausen Scholar. Jenn’s passion for universal exploration and advancement within visual arts have been lifelong pursuits.
Cooper has exhibited at Newfields (Indianapolis, IN), Trumbullplex (Detroit, MI), Evanston Art Center (Evanston, IL), and Gallery Pink (Oak Park, IL). They are an artist in residence at Louder House, Chicago, IL.
A life-long passion for physics and space travel have shaped intellectual engagement and inquiry. Aesthetic engagements are produced through the lens of Object Oriented Ontology (OOO). Tom Sachs, Timothy Morton, Mark Rothko, Sarah Sze and Delia Ann Derbyshire are a few among many artistic influences.
