Triumvirate

Triumvirate is a 3-channel broadcasting system in dialogue with itself and its environment. 

 

Comprised of 3 angled sound domes, the conversation resonates throughout the space, inseparable from the sonic environment in which it naturally exists.

 

Unique tones are generated from the conversion of image to sound, and are tuned to resonate within the space of display.

 

Neon lights ring the sound domes, and are reflected in the mirrors which also cap them.

Displayed near a window, the piece radiates outward, appearing to become brighter as the night becomes darker.
